If you’re anything like me and love the classic films, then the 1945 White Christmasis probably one of your  all time favourites this time of year. Gosh, I’m feeling festive!

The film stars Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen, and the plot is loosely based on the 1942 film, Holiday Inn.

If you love the film, you have GOT to love the songs of Irving Berlin.
In this clip, Bing Crosby’s character invites veterans of the 151st Division to come to Vermont on Christmas Eve to surprise their former General.

When the general is greeted by his former division they sing a rousing chorus for him, (its nothing short of brilliant) and just as the song comes to a finish they learn that the snow is finally falling.  Oh, I do love a good white christmas (as long as i’m inside in front of a roaring fire).
This video is still relevant today.
If you enjoyed reminiscing with us don’t forget to SHARE this post with your friends and family on Facebook.

We wish you all a very merry christmas and a happy new year.
Who knows you might even have a white christmas of your own.
